Paul Lefeuvre is a French qualified attorney at law, based in Paris, specializing in international business law and cross-border dispute resolution.
Now an independent practitioner, Paul has spent fifteen years in top-tier international Law Firms, advising and representing large companies in high-profile transactions and disputes involving complex and business-sensitive issues, bringing them to an optimal conclusion, either in court, through arbitration, or other dispute resolution mechanisms. Paul’s experience covers a wide range of topics, including joint ventures, shareholder agreements, long-term supply contracts, representations and warranties, licensing, distribution, investment, trade, and construction, with a particular focus on energy, infrastructure, transport, telecommunications, media, and technology industries.

Advisory matters:
- Advising a North-African national energy company in a dispute against a Spanish company regarding the enforcement of coal supply agreements. The dispute was conducted under the ICC rules of arbitration
- Advising a French company and international investors on the creation and incorporation of shareholder structures for the conduct of cryptocurrency related activities in various countries worldwide
- Advising a group of entrepreneurs regarding the creation of a startup company offering services in relation to social and environmental transition in the Web3 industry
- Advising Shareholders of a French tech company in relation to the sale and purchase of shares to investors
- Advising an English online art retail company in pre litigation discussions regarding the implementation of a SaaS agreement
- Advising a European State-owned company in securing long term mining rights with a Central Asian State
Court and arbitration representation:
- Representing an Indian company against a French company and a first rank French bank in a dispute relating to a first demand bank guarantee called in the context of an arbitration procedure. The dispute was heard by French commercial courts, the arbitration proceedings by the Courts of Dehli, India.
- Representing a French tech retail company at pre-litigation and litigation stages of various disputes held in front of French courts
- Representing a European Consortium in arbitration proceedings against a European State regarding the conduct of regulated activities during the Covid Pandemic. The arbitration was conducted under the ICC Rules of arbitration
- Advising a French logistic company in arbitration proceedings under the ICSID and OHADA rules, regarding the construction and operation of container handling terminals in West-African countries
- Advising an African state-owned transportation company in a dispute with a Chinese company regarding the purchase of passenger train coaches. The dispute was conducted under the ICC Rules of arbitration
- Advising a joint venture between European companies in an arbitration against a Spanish energy company regarding the purchase of several wind farms in Europe. The arbitration was conducted under the ICC Rules of arbitration
- Advising a joint venture between Algerian, UK and Norwegian companies, against an Italian energy company, in a gas price review conducted under the ICC Rules

2021-2022 Three Crowns LLP, Paris – Associate, International Arbitration
Advising and representing companies, state-owned entities, and governments in international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations as well as in their pre-dispute negotiations with a specific focus on infrastructure, construction, energy, and mining disputes, mainly in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
2020-2021 Sailing project, Atlantic Ocean – Captain of Sailing Vessel Malotru
After eight years working at Shearman & Sterling, a short break to fulfill an old dream, 20 months at sea circumnavigating the Atlantic Ocean on a 43-foot second-hand sailing boat, with more than 30 crews recruited on the way.
